![]() ![]() If I login and paste content to a website page it brings the styling/formatting with it. This also occurs if I go to edit an existing website page. I then have to go through the entire blog and adjust the headings, adjust spacing, and add bullet points. Hover the mouse pointer over the style you want to change. By default, Word preserves the original formatting when you paste content into a document using CTRL+V, the Paste button, or right-click + Paste. Word displays the Styles and Formatting task pane. You do that by following these steps if you are using Word 2002 or Word 2003: Choose Styles and Formatting from the Format menu. The issue is, that then takes away things like header spacing and bullet points that are in the Google Doc. Turn off the setting in Word that causes explicit formatting to be absorbed into the underlying styles. Copy and paste the source code into the new document. The only way I've found to remove the formatting is to use a simple text editor like Notepad. In the Object type list, Select Microsoft Word Document. It does this if I paste from a Word doc as well. Just a couple weeks ago this wasn't happening. So the font styling remains what it was in the Google Doc, and if text was a certain color it remains that color when I paste it. How to access these options will vary depending on the software in use.
